The coat of arms of our town is a historical one. In the middle of it there is a picture of St George who is the town protector. St George is killing a dragoon with a spear. In its background there are the stylized forms of the Nehaj Fortress and of The Croatian coat of arms.

There are three colours dominating in the flag of Senj. The colours are red,blue and green.
